Richie's Baptism
This past Sunday, Richie was baptized at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler. His godparents were Aunt Amy and Uncle Steve. Richie was the most well behaved baby. It seemed as though he was talking to the deacon when he was giving Richie a blessing and Richie simply fell asleep after the water was poured on his head. We had a party back at our house after the Baptism and Richie had so much fun the rest of the day visiting with all of his family. He loved that everyone wanted to hold and play with him. He was so tired by the end of the day that he slept 9 straight hours through the night! Below are some pics from the day....enjoy!

12 weeks and growing!
For those of you who like to read my blog, I apologize for not putting posts up more frequently...I am going to try harder to remember to post pics each week! Here is an update of Richie since the holidays. Richie was 12 weeks this past Monday....boy does time fly! He is growing so fast and is such a happy little boy. He is so much fun to be around. He smiles all the time now at anyone who wants to talk to him. He likes to "talk" back to others by cooing. He also is fascinated with his hands and is really exploring his environment with them. He loves to take baths and loves being naked, haha....he will really enjoy summer time when he can walk around the house in a onesie and not have 2 layers of clothes on him. Richie loves to kick his arms and legs all over on his playmat and loves being walked around in the stroller. He loves to look and smile at himself in the mirror although I don't think he realizes that he's looking at himself. He is starting to reach for toys when put out in front of him and I have heard a random little laugh every now and then. He rolls over from his belly to his back a few times a week. He loves to eat and lets you know what he thinks of you when you pull the bottle out of his mouth for burps. He likes to be strolled around our house during the day for his naps (thank goodness we have hardwood floors and can move around the house in a stroller since it's just too cold to go outside). He likes to sleep in his swing at night and just this week slept through the night 3 times. Unfortunately, Richie is getting too big to sleep in his swing and we are working on transitioning him into his crib....last night was our first night doing this and although he did get up twice, we were impressed that he slept for 5 1/2 hours in his crib before waking as before he used to wake within 5 minutes. Richie lost a lot of his hair around 5-6 weeks and his hair is now really growing in. We are surprised to see that his hair is a dirty blonde/light brown color as both Rich and I were blondes as babies. His hair makes him look like such a little boy now! Richie is also already growing out of a lot of his 3 month clothes....it looks like he might be really long...built just like his daddy! He weighs about 12-12 1/2 lbs now and eats about 5-6 times a day....soon he will probably be eating just like his daddy which will have mommy running to the grocery store every day! :) Richie has lived through at least 5 snowstorms already which has kept us in the house quite a bit. Needless to say, we are ready for Spring in the Davoli house. We have already booked our family vacation and will be taking Richie to Ocean City, New Jersey this summer...we can't wait!!! Below are some pictures just to catch you up since Christmas. Hope you enjoy!
