11 Months

11 Months!!!!  I cannot believe it.  Time is flying but every day with Richie is more and more fun.  Richie is turning into quite an independent little boy.  He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything.  He loves to explore and has very little fear.  He truly watches and learns.  He loves to throw the ball, play peek a boo, listen to music, browse through the freezer, look out the windows, crawl around in the grass and cruise around the furniture.  He is now WALKING - yes, I said walking, with his walker (he needs a little help with turns!) and he is so proud of himself.  It is only a matter of time before he is walking on his own.  Richie loves going to his "Little Gym" class and being around the other kids.  He is constantly on the go and does not stop until bedtime!  He is eating mostly table food now as he refuses to be fed any baby food anymore.  He babbles quite a bit throughout the day and says mama, dada, baba, nana among other sounds.  He is very good at getting his point across to us - he will certainly let you know if he likes something or not!  He has quite the personality and we always receive comments on how social he is :)  Here are some pictures of Mr. Independent at 11 months with Mr. Bear!

Fall Fun

Fall is here and we have been keeping busy!  Here are some pictures of the things we've been doing.

Richie and Daddy both wearing their Eagles gear at a local farm

 Richie and Mommy

Richie has gotten very good at getting into everything he shouldn't be getting into.  He especially likes our freezer.  Here I caught him in the action.  Step 1....take a look around to see if anyone is watching.

Step 2....Help myself to some ice cream.
Richie's buddy, Isaac, turned 1 on October 1st and here's Richie all ready to go to the party.  He looks like such a big boy in his vest and sneakers!
How big is Richie????  Soooooo big!!!!
My good friend, Joan, is due to have her baby in December and here we are at her surprise baby shower :)
Richie, Sara, Rich, and Madeline getting ready to watch the Phillies playoff game....unfortunately, the Phils had quite an upset that night and were knocked out of the playoffs :(
We went to Koehler's Farm a couple weeks ago and Richie had lots of fun.  It was unusually warm that day so pardon Richie's summer attire :)

Richie measuring up with the pumpkin.
My sweet baby having fun in the huge pumkins :)

Daddy and Richie having fun on the tractor.
Richie has developed a real attachment to his blankie....here he wrapped the blanket around himself while watching his nursery rhymes....I thought it was too cute not to take a picture :)
Richie LOVES mac n cheese.  And he also loves to feed himself....Mr. Independent!  This ended up being quite a mess!  It was all over his face and hair as you can see :)

10 Months

Richie learned a lot of new things in his 10th month!  And Mommy and Daddy realized how much baby-proofing needs to be done in our house!  Richie is now crawling everywhere, pulling up on anything he can, and cruising on furniture.  We are exhausted at the end of the day trying to keep up with him!  Richie is babbling a lot and comprehends quite a few words these days.  He loves peek-a-boo, "sooo big", music, and throwing the ball around.  He really enjoys going outside and crawling around in the grass.  He loves going to the park and interacting with other kids.  He is starting to eat more and more table foods including bread, pasta, small pieces of chicken, and small pieces of fruits.   He has quite an appetite and I can't believe how big he is getting!  Here are some pics of our 10 month old little boy!! :)
Good morning Mommy and Daddy!

"See my 1 arm push-ups?!  No biggie!"
 "Hi Mommy!"
"I'm done with this photo shoot nonsense!"
It felt like fall outside today
 The next Federer!

Congrats Mark and Rachel!

Last weekend, Rich and I went to Bedford, PA to celebrate Mark and Rachel's wedding.   The wedding was beautiful and we had such a great time!
The newlyweds!

Love the back of her dress!

Happy Birthday Aunt Amy!

On September 5th, we celebrated Aunt Amy's birthday!  We had a fun day starting with Chickie's and Pete's for lunch and ending with some yummy cake for dessert.  Richie had lots of fun with his Aunt Amy :)

End of Summer

Summer flew this year!  Here's some pictures showing what we did during the end of summer.

Richie enjoying a swim with his cousins.

Richie loves his nursery rhymes - especially Wheels on the Bus!

He figured out how to pull up on the coffee table - that table was quickly taken out of the family room for a bit!

Richie playing ball.

Richie liked Daddy's balloons so much he thought he would take them for a spin in his buggy :)

Escaping from the house

Happy boy knows how to stand up in his crib now :)
