Please Touch Museum - Part 2

Rich, Richie and I headed down to the Please Touch Museum today.  We had a lot of fun and it was amazing to see how many other things Richie was interested in compared to a month ago.  It was great for the 3 of us to spend the morning together!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We were so looking forward to St. Patrick's Day this year since it was on a Saturday and the weather was sunny and in the 70s!  Unfortunately, all 3 of us were attacked by the stomach bug.  Richie and I got it first toward the end of that week and Rich got it ON St. Patty's Day.  Needless to say, we were mostly stuck in the house for a few days.  We did manage to get out a little bit since it was so beautiful out and Richie just loves being outside!  It's amazing how resilient kids are though....I felt absolutely awful and although Richie wasn't really eating much, he still had so much energy and wanted to play all day long.  Here are a few pictures from that week.

Please Touch Museum

About a month ago, my mom and I took Richie to the Philadelphia Please Touch Museum for the 1st time.  The place is HUGE and so awesome.  There is so much to do there - we spent about 2.5 hours there and realized on our way out that we didn't even see everything!  They even have a few cute play areas that were built for kids under 3 which was great for Richie.  Richie had a lot of fun exploring!   Here's a few pictures from our adventures!

1st Haircut

Richie's hair was starting to look like a mullet so we knew it was time for him to go for his 1st haircut!  We made an appointment at a kids' salon that had race cars for seats in hope that Richie wouldn't be too scared of the person coming near his head with a sharp object; however, he didn't love getting his hair cut.  He wasn't screaming but was definitely trying to climb out of the chair.  The haircut actually came out pretty good though!  We are actually going to give him another haircut today but this time our wonderful friend Heather, who Richie knows, will be giving him a trim here at home!  Let's hope he's a little more cooperative for this one :)

15 Months

These pictures were taken right before Richie's 15 month check-up back in February.  He wore his best shirt and tie for his appointment.  He then weighed 20lbs. 8oz. and was 30.5 inches tall.  He was so good (as always) for the doctor and showed off his skills of walking and talking.  The doctor is happy with his progress and we will go back for his next check-up at 18 months!

We call Richie "Linus" because he loves his blankie.
