Birthday Party Number 1!

Our sweet baby turned the BIG ONE on November 15th!  We had such a great time celebrating Richie's 1st year!  So many people love Richie and we had so much fun celebrating the big day that we had two birthday parties for him!  Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the big day with us....Richie had a blast and we hope you did too!  Here are some pictures from party number 1!

Richie dressed up as Tigger for Halloween this year.  We had fun taking him around to each of the neighbors' houses....Richie is the only baby on our street so they all really get a kick out of him!

Happy 1st Birthday to you Richie Davoli!  You are the most adorable, sweet, fun-loving, energetic little boy we know.  Daddy and I are so honored to be your parents!!!  We love watching you as you achieve all of your milestones and couldn't be more proud.  You bring so much happiness into our lives as well as the lives of others.  We are so happy to celebrate this special day with you and are anxious to spend many more joyful birthdays with you in the years ahead!  Enjoy your 1st birthday my sweet baby boy!  Mommy and Daddy love you!!!

A Sneak Peek

Next weekend, we are going out to Glenmoore to have Richie's 1 year picture as well as a family picture taken.  I found this cute little outfit for Richie to wear for the pictures but unfortunately, Richie was really sick this past week.  He had his 1st ear infection and then had a bad reaction to the medicine.  Anyways, this was the first chance I had to put Richie's outfit on to see how it fit while he was in good spirits.  He was a real trooper while Mommy snapped 50 pictures!  Here are a few of my favorites.  My absolute favorite one is not on here as I am trying to send it to NBC news to get our little star on TV for Baby's 1st Birthdays :)

October Fun

Richie's buddy Braedon came over for a playdate last week.  Richie had so much fun and was laughing so hard the entire night!  Thanks for coming over Braedon!  Can't wait to see you again soon!



 Koehler's Farm part 2....I wanted to get a corn stalk for the front of our house so we went back to the farm.  I, of course, had to take some more pictures.  Richie really enjoyed going for a wagon ride around the farm.

On October 15th, we had the best time celebrating Steve and Heather's wedding at Meadowlands Country Club.  Steve was Rich's best man in our wedding and Rich was very excited and honored to be the best man in their wedding.  Heather looked gorgeous and the day went on without a hitch!  Rich's best man speech was really funny and got a lot of laughs and compliments.  We spent the entire night laughing and dancing - it is just so much fun when everyone is together catching up!  Congratulations Steve and Heather!  Wishing you many years of love and happiness!

11 Months

11 Months!!!!  I cannot believe it.  Time is flying but every day with Richie is more and more fun.  Richie is turning into quite an independent little boy.  He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything.  He loves to explore and has very little fear.  He truly watches and learns.  He loves to throw the ball, play peek a boo, listen to music, browse through the freezer, look out the windows, crawl around in the grass and cruise around the furniture.  He is now WALKING - yes, I said walking, with his walker (he needs a little help with turns!) and he is so proud of himself.  It is only a matter of time before he is walking on his own.  Richie loves going to his "Little Gym" class and being around the other kids.  He is constantly on the go and does not stop until bedtime!  He is eating mostly table food now as he refuses to be fed any baby food anymore.  He babbles quite a bit throughout the day and says mama, dada, baba, nana among other sounds.  He is very good at getting his point across to us - he will certainly let you know if he likes something or not!  He has quite the personality and we always receive comments on how social he is :)  Here are some pictures of Mr. Independent at 11 months with Mr. Bear!
