Today, I am 32 weeks pregnant...only 56 more days to go! As our due date quickly approaches, we can't help but wonder what our baby will look like. Will he/she have my nose or Rich's eyes? Will he/she have Rich's height or have light or dark hair? I have been working on the baby's book and needed a few pictures of Rich and I as babies. So here we are! Stay tuned to see whose features our baby gets :)

Nursery Update
Thank You!
Again, we are so lucky to have people in our lives who just want to spoil our precious baby! Last week, Rich's mom came over and gave baby D. the most adorable layettes, bibs, and socks. They are so cute and we can't wait for the baby to come so we can wrap our little one in these clothes. Thank you Maryann!!

I also met up with my friend Kristen a few weeks ago and she gave baby D. this cute little duckie layette and duck washcloths...too cute!!!!
I was in a store the other day and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this little Penn State jogging suit. Boy or girl, our baby will definitely be a Penn State fan and although the baby probably won't fit into this until next Fall, I couldn't resist buying it! GO PSU!

Time to say goodbye...
to my 2006 Scion TC! Today, we bought our "family car!" While I absolutely LOVE our new car, it was so sad to say goodbye to my TC. This was my first car that I bought when I graduated from college! It was a great car that needed minimal work and held up for 98,900 miles!!! It just wasn't functional to drive a baby around in as it was very small and only a 2 door car...and also now that we live in PA again, it will definitely help on any days that may be icy/snowy. Goodbye Scion TC....thank you for holding up for 5 years!!! :)

Happy Anniversary to us!
Happy 50th Birthday Hugh!
On Saturday night, we celebrated Uncle Hugh's 50th Birthday! We are so glad we were able to celebrate the day with everyone! A great time was had by all! Happy Birthday Hugh!
The McGovern Family
3rd Trimester!
Well, I have finally made it into the third trimester! YIPPEEE!! I am feeling good overall...just BIG though! The baby is kicking more and more these days....usually at least 3 times a day but I am feeling him or her more throughout the day as well. The kicks/punches are gettings stronger for sure!
On another not, last week I received the unfortunate news that I have acquired gestational diabetes. Although this is apparently a "common" problem in pregnant women, it was still very disappointing to hear this. I will be meeting with a "high risk" doctor and dietician next week at Abington Hospital; however, I do believe that both the baby and myself will be just fine as long as I keep up with the diet that is needed. From the research I have done, it appears that I need to eat a lot of protein and fiber and limit my sugar intake. Hopefully, the diabetes will go away once the baby is born.
Below are some recent pics of my growing belly! We only have about 10 more weeks to go until the arrival of our precious little one :)
