A very busy July

July was such a fun-filled, busy month - and it flew!  Here are some pictures of all of our activities in July :)

We bought Richie this awesome little buggy cause he really isn't a huge fan of the stroller for walks.  He likes to see everything that is going on around him and he just can't do that in the stroller!  He LOVES his little car - we really enjoy taking him out for walks in it almost every morning and evening.  :) 

My good friend Ryan, who grew up on my street, married Kim on July 23rd in New Jersey.  We had a really great time celebrating with them! 

The next day, July 24th, Aunt Grace and Sean got married.  We got to have some more fun celebrating their day with them :)

On July 28th, we celebrated Granny's birthday!  

We enjoyed Granny's birthday cake for dessert and Richie enjoyed nibbling on his piggies :)

8 Months with Mr. Bear

Richie was 8 months yesterday so I of course had to do our monthly photo shoot with Mr. Bear.  And yes, we also went through 2 outfit changes for the photo shoot as well :)  At 8 months, Richie eats 3 meals and 3 bottles a day.  He takes 2 naps a day and LOVES to play.  He sits up independently now (with an occasional wipeout) and is working hard on crawling.  Crawling has been a bit of a challenge for him but I'm hoping he figures it out soon!  He gets his butt up in the air but can't quite get up on his arms and legs.  He loves his truck, mini computer, blocks and things that spin.  He likes being outside and I often put his command center on the back porch so that he can look around at the trees and listen to the airplanes and cars going by.  He likes stroller rides at night but really is not a fan of being in the car.  In a few weeks, we are taking Richie to the Jersey shore for the 1st time....we are so excited!  Happy 8 Months Richie!!!

Our trip to Jacksonville, FL



Over the 4th of July weekend, we went down to Jacksonville, FL to visit Dave, Liz and Braiden.  We haven't been down to FL since June of 2010 and were anxious take Richie down for a visit.  I was a little nervous about the plane ride for Richie but he did wonderful!  The man behind us actually said to us "I think he should get the award for the most well behaved baby."  It was a lot of work traveling with a 7 month old but it was so worth it.  We had such a great time seeing our friends and getting away for a weekend.  We were able to go to some of our favorite places in Jax as well as sit back and relax for a bit.  A huge thanks to the Dore family for your hospitality!  You guys always welcome us and make us feel right at home!  We hope we get to see you all again soon!  I wasn't too great about taking pics but the ones I did get were pretty good.  When I figure out how to upload from my Iphone, I will have a few more to post :)

Seven Months

Seven months?!?!  Every month I say "where has the time gone?!" but seriously where is the time going??  Another month has gone by and our cutie patootie is growing and growing!  He loves to go to new places, meet new people and takes in everything in his environment.  He loves for people to play with him and interact with him and he sure keeps us busy!  Here are some pictures of month 7!

 Richie doesn't go in his swing much anymore but one day I put him in it to see if he would like it.  Well, I guess he was pooped because he fell asleep in it within 5 mins! 

 Richie was playing on the floor and when he rolled over, the top from his shape sorter toy landed right on his head just like a helmet.  He didn't even react but I thought it was hilarious and so cute!

 Richie went to his first Phillies game on June 25th!  We even had box seats thanks to Daddy - what a lucky little boy!  That was my first time sitting in box seats as well - we had a great time!

 We received an unexpected but wonderful visit from Erin as she was in town from Columbus for a few days :)  Richie had so much fun playing and reading books with her.
